Frankly, I read this one a while ago. But I remember very well that this book was also a bit ‘ An Infatuation ‘ for me 🥰. I will also read it again as soon as possible.

At her husband’s work party, Lise Cabot sees a woman who makes a huge impression on her. Lise feels an unlikely attraction to the woman. The woman turns out to be Juliana Rhodes, her husband’s new boss. She had just resolved to hate her for stealing her husband’s promotion right in front of him.

I think I like this book so much because it’s a story that can happen to anyone. Ok, they are beautiful people with nice jobs and so on. It is, after all, a novel. But the way Jennifer Lyndon describes the infatuation and the depth of love, and the obstacles you face when you choose something so drastic, really kicks in. It actually reminds me a bit of the movie ‘ A woman like Eva ‘. Nice ❤️!
