If I Don’t Ask – E.J. Noyes

Available at Bella Books

4th Book in the Ask, Tell series. Last one? Maybe. In any case this one feels like a treat. We go way back to when Ask, Tell took place. Difference now is that the story is told form Rebecca’s perspective. So exciting!

Well it seems that Sabine had an immediate effect on Rebecca. Love at first sight? Maybe. At least it was infatuation at first sight. But being Sabine’s commanding officer it’s an even bigger no, no to pursue Sabine than the Army’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” anti gay policy 😭.

Ok and here we see a lesson in restraint. Rebecca just can’t ignore her growing feelings for Sabine, however much she wants to, nothing works. It seems that Sabine is the woman for her. But how? Is Sabine even gay? Attached or not? And does she even like Rebecca back? The last one is ridiculous. How can she not?!

If you read Ask, Tell you’ll know how they finally get together. How they figure out how to make it work, with a little (unlucky) help of the fates. If you haven’t read Ask, Tell you should do so immediately 😉. I am going to reread right that first book after rereading As The Shoe Fits 😁. This series is a classic in my book of favorites ❤️.
