What’s more, Lena Luthor is a vampire. She’s the perfect character to be a vampire. You can believe she’ll suck dry everyone that crosses her path. But you’ll also believe that she’s good underneath. And she is. Her mother Lillian is not and Lena tries everything she can to bring her down. She risks everything to do that, even being exposed. Which ultimately happens to none other than the last person she wants to know her secret: Supergirl.

Supergirl unbeknown is fighting the same fight as Lena. When the two meet eventually, something strange occurs between them when they touch. From then on they are pulled together by an unknown force. A force which connects them to each other and makes them feel a mutual desire and longing which cannot be denied. Unless your name is Lena Luthor of course. She remains incredibly stubborn and refuses to give in to the undeniable link with Supergirl. Which gets harder and harder. Especially when they decide to work together to bring Lillian down. And when Lena is forced to feed on Supergirl, which is an incredibly hot scene, her resolve starts to crumble.

The slow burn is fantastic. When they finally give in it’s all consuming 🔥🥵. You know, the icing on the cake for me is that this is a Soulmate AU. You don’t see that too often nowadays, like people don’t believe in it anymore. Luckily Jazzfordshire does. I adore her for writing this lovely, exciting, hot and romantic fic ❤️.
