Andrea Sullivan and Cameron Ross met in Devil’s Rock. They decided they would rather be together. That meant Andrea now also works as an FBI Agent with Cameron, traveling with her in the high-tech RV and cat Lola that Cameron adopted in Sedona.

They try to catch a serial killer who kills women and dumps their bodies along the deserted highways that crisscross the Mojave Desert. This puts their partnership but also their relationship to the test.

Risking their own lives, they set out to trap the killer. They are helped by a team of agents, sent by their boss Murdock. A few things do become clear: Andrea and Cameron are awesome cops and unafraid, they are crazy about each other, and new friendships are possible despite their difficult work.

And look, it’s a bit of a detour, but this is where the characters I talked about in Hunter’s Way come in. This again had to do with Timber Falls 🤯. Takes a while but then you have something 😂. It may have been an overkill (nice pun 😜) of Gerri Hill detectives. But actually, that’s not possible. These books are so good. Even if I would never buy a book again, her books would suffice me until the end of my time 😊.
